Description: traces of textile found on iron brooch (SF 13). The textile fibres were hollow casts but the appearance and diameter range (15-42 microns) suggested wool.

Description: traces of textile found on iron shank (SF 37). Spin and weave could not be recorded. Fibre diameter was about 10 microns. When viewed under polarised light they had faint cross-markings, suggesting a plant material.
